Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I love helping others! Being a licensed clinician has been the perfect opportunity to combine my love for helping others and my unique ability to break down complicated situations to isolate and heal core issues.
My clinical experience over the past19 years has included: policy work at the state level, community and in-home interventions, community resource delivery, inpatient care, therapeutic retreats, and outpatient therapy.
My passion is working to empower individuals and couples. Effective therapy leads to real shifts in internal and external environments and I use my approach to aid in that. I combine a compassionate, empathetic, humorous approach with my experiences and training. This helps to identify how life experiences create current patterns and responses, and how to heal those core beliefs and experiences. With this strengths-based approach, I like to add info about systems and how those areas of our lives (childhood, community, and current social support) work to bring you into your best life by validating pain and other emotional responses.
